I just think this is better in English for the full effect. The Japanese seiyu did a great job, don't get me wrong. I think it is richer in English partly because the acting and seiyu choices, but mostly because you get the different cultural accents of the American melting pot of that time, aside from the fact that it does take place in America. However Baccano, I think is best watched in English. I definitely favor subbed anime over dubbed (since I don't speak Japanese). (I am a person who despises almost all dubbed anime, however this series was an exception, and it was perfect). If you are going to watch this Anime and you have the option of either dubbed or subbed, I would highly recommend going with the dub.
